USB Playback Driver for CP-800 & Sigma SSP (Windows)
Classé CP-800 and Sigma SSP Models with the upgrade Network Audio Board will support Audio Playback up to 192kHz via rear USB. The Classé USB 2.0 driver below is required in order to play USB audio files from a Windows PC.
Note that Mac users do not need to install this driver: 192kHz Audio Playback is supported natively by Mac OSX.
NOTE:It is strongly recommended to un-install any earlier versions of the Classe USB Audio Driver prior to installing the new version.
Software - USB Connection Driver for Classé Delta II Amplifiers, SSP-800/CT-SSP and Disc Transports (CD/DVD Players)
This Driver is known as "CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller (COMx)".
It is used to communicate data using the USB port on the back of a Classé Delta and CT Series Amplifier, Disc Players and Surround Processor (SSP-800/CT-SSP). (The USB Port on the back of a SSP-800/CT-SSP does NOT accept Audio Signals, only Data and Control Commands)
When you connect this USB port to a PC laptop, MS Windows will (normally) automatically install the appropriate driver. If the Classé component (that is your Classé CA or CT unit) is not automatically detected by MS Windows, please disconnect the Classé component from the USB cable and download and install the driver manually.
Reconnect the USB cable after successful installation of the driver.
Once successfully installed, the Classé component will appear in Device Manager under the "Ports (COM&LPT) section as "CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller (COMx)".
** Note: this ZIP archive contains the CP210x driver for both 64-bit Windows Computers as well as older 32-bit Windows Computers (called x86). In case you are not sure which one to choose, then please use the older x86 version.
Delta-CT-User-Interface-Installer (current version: 6.5)
To extract the Event Log File of a Delta II and Delta I Amp, or to change amplifier settings.
- To extract the Event Log File from any Delta II or Delta I Amplifier, this is useful in several cases:
- to know more about the health about the amplifier -- operating time, warning log, protection log -- as well as the Firmware (FW) installed.
- To use this information in the troubleshooting process of an amplifier that has a defect or shows problematic behaviour.
- This Utility can als be used
- By customers and Dealers to change the Standby LED Brightness and assign an "Amp Startup Sequence NUmber" for delayed satrtup of multiple Classé Amps.
- By Service Hubs and Distributors to change Amplifier Software Settings after a Voltage Change of a Delta I or Delta II amp.
- It is a PC executable. It therefore ONLY works on PC's equipped with Windows (XP until 10);
- The utility works over USB (A to B cable) as well as RS232 (DB9 connector).
- Please note that Delta I amplifiers only have a RS232 connector. If your computer only has a USB connector, you will need to get a RS232-to-USB Adapter.
- When connecting the amplifier via USB, the computer normally installs the USB-Driver for the Classé Comm Board automatically. If this is not the case, then the Comm Board Driver must be downloaded and installed manually: CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller (COMx).
